Grief Recovery Outreach Program

The Smith Senior Center, 2401 Fairview St., offers a Grief Recovery Outreach Program from 1-2:30 pm on Wednesdays from January 13 through February 24.
Based on the Grief Recovery Method, this seven-week program creates a safe environment to look at old beliefs about dealing with loss. It also looks at how other losses have affected your life, and provides new actions which lead to completion of the pain attached to a recent or past loss.
Taught by Ellie McFalls, a certified grief recovery specialist, the cost of the program is $50 per person, plus the purchase of a $13 workbook. For the safety and success of all participants, commitment and attendance are essential. Participants must register and pay in person at Smith Senior Center’s front desk.
