Lunch ‘N’ Learn: Elise Eifert

GROWTH Lunch & Learn Emerging Trends in Family Caregiving Using the Life Course Perspective presented by Elise Eifert. Edwards Lounge, Stone Building, UNCG.
Elise Eifert provides insight into characteristics of baby boomers that separate them from previous aging cohorts and how these characteristics affect family caregiving using the theoretical lens of a life course perspective.
Eifert is Assistant Professor of Exercise Science and Health Promotion at Florida Atlantic University. She recently completed a UNCG Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Gerontology and will receive a PhD in Public Health Education in December 2014. Eifert earned a BS in Health Education from Southern Illinois University and a MS in Health Promotion from Indiana University. In addition to five years experience as an Alzheimer’s disease and dementia educator, Eifert is a Certified Health Education Specialist and an Elder Abuse trainer for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.
